Sarah has an abiding interest in working for social and environmental change and believes in the power of sustainable innovation to cause meaningful impact. Her background in environmental policy and economics gives her important insights into recognizing the potential profit opportunities present in global market inefficiencies. At SAIL, Sarah manages our SAIL newsletter and other communications with SAIL investors and also assists with selected portfolio investments.

Sarah is an advocate for triple bottom line growth in the private sector. She is particularly interest in green manufacturing in the US and received honors for her senior thesis analyzing the obstacles and sustainable opportunities within the US manufacturing industry.  Her enthusiasm for this topic has found a home in portfolio development at SAIL.

Sarah graduated with honors from Occidental College cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy. In addition to her many fellowships, Sarah was active in numerous leadership positions and sustainability initiatives on campus. Her other great passion is travel, and she recently returned from living in the South of France for a year.
