David B. Jones
Senior Partner, SAIL Venture Partners LLC

Dave Jones is a seasoned veteran of venture capital whose experience has been of value in advising the partners and portfolio companies of SAIL. He now serves as Chairman of CNS Response and consults for M2 Renewables. He was a driving force in creating CleanTechOC, a California trade association that promotes economic growth in the Orange County clean technology industry.

Prior to joining SAIL, he held leadership positions with several prominent financial organizations, notably Interven Partners and First Interstate Capital, where he was President & CEO of this private equity subsidiary of First Interstate Bancorp, where he led a team in managing approximately $200 Million of assets under management. 

Dave has served in multiple roles at the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies (NASBIC), including the Board of Governors, the Executive Committee, and as Chairman in 1987. He received an AB from Dartmouth College and an MBA & JD from the University of Southern California, where he was Managing Editor of the Southern California Law Review.
