Chuck Swanson
Chief Financial Officer
Serving as SAIL’s interim CFO, Chuck is the co-founder of Beacon Resources and oversees the firm's project, outsourcing, co-sourcing, and advisory services, providing technical support and ensuring quality. Chuck has more than twenty years of experience in assisting companies with enterprise risk management, internal audit projects, SOX 404 implementation and advisory services, including merger integration, supply chain management and the development of business plans. Chuck has successfully assisted companies in the divestiture of over $6 billion in assets, and acquisitions or mergers of over $20 billion.
Prior to co-founding Beacon Resources, Chuck had a distinguished career in public accounting as a Partner with Ernst & Young. Chuck was a subject matter specialist in the areas of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and International Financial Reporting Standards. Chuck worked with companies to right size and strengthen internal controls, to develop and document policies and procedures, and to provide solutions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Chuck received his degree in economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and is a CPA as well as a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
