Aaron Burch
Associate and Finance Manager

Aaron has a passion for energy, entrepreneurship and the environment. As part of the Energy Specialization concentration he earned with his MBA, he completed courses in energy fundamentals, oil and gas trading, and energy accounting and valuation. He is excited to be working with SAIL on the growth of new energy efficient technologies. At SAIL, Aaron supports the accounting and finance functions of the firm and assists with the investment portfolio, focusing on preparing portfolio companies for exit.

Aaron's previous experience includes working with the start-up, Women’s Professional Soccer, in San Francisco. There he was the League Operations Manager, overseeing the successful execution of over 170 national games in two seasons, maintaining the league’s oversight of team ticket sales, and establishing partnerships with the nation’s five largest youth and adult soccer organizations. Additionally, he served as a Senior District Executive with the Boy Scouts of America, where he was responsible for the turnaround of the local council’s largest district and awarded the Chief Scout Executive’s Winners’ Circle “Above & Beyond” recognition for exceeding all membership and fundraising goals.

He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and a master's in business administration from Tulane University in New Orleans. While at Tulane, he served as VP of Events for the Tulane Entrepreneurs Association, planning and hosting the school’s annual business plan competition, which spotlighted innovative technologies from around the world. An Eagle Scout, Aaron is committed to conservation and served as a volunteer for the National Parks Service in New Orleans.
